Pool cue wraps (Irish Linen, leatherette, leather...)?

First, what's best?

It's really a personal preference. Leather tends to be the most expensive, especially stacked leather wraps. I haven't tried leatherette personally, but a lot of synthetics will feel sticky if they get wet, so if your hands sweat a lot, it might not be a good idea. Irish linen is very common, just be careful with it otherwise it can unravel. I haven't had any issues with any of my Irish linen or leather wraps on any of my cues.
