Practicing Basic Snooker?
I have been playing snooker regularly from last one year. But, I have joined professional training two days back. Basic training is very very tough i.e. Hitting the cue ball on cushion and getting strait back. My stance is totally changed and I am feeling odd now. How much time will it take to get stable now????

It all depends on how much practice you put in, Terry Griffiths is a good friend of mine from our home town of Llanelli, he is a very good snooker coach, before he became world champion in 1979, I remember him practicing eight hours a day on his own.
Hitting a ball and getting it straight back (best from the brown spot over the length of the table, over the black spot and seeing how close the cue ball returns over the brown spot) is a very good way of of perfecting your stance and the very basic skill of hitting the ball consistently in the centre.
Steve Davis who I've also played has a perfect stance, he raised the standard of snooker practice amongst all his peers.
